Mostly street parking (free after 5:30PM!) with the option to park at the Duluth Transit Center garage (24 hr, must pay).
We Met at Summer Camp...
Jenny and Chance met in the summer of 2022 in the wonderful land of Central Oregon. Specifically, the Clarno Basin. Chance was searching for meaning in his mid-twenties and took a job as a camp counselor for the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry. Jenny was a science instructor for the camp. This beloved place is called Hancock Field Station, and it is where they fell in love.
Chance describes meeting Jenny as "love at first sight." They sat next to each other in the dining hall and Chance knew right away, unbeknownst to Jenny. They soon became friends, having many common interests, and love made its way into both of their hearts as it so often does.
They moved to Duluth, Minnesota in the hopes of building a life together. Jenny proposed to Chance in 2025 on top of Mt. Tabor in Portland, Oregon where they had their first date together!
Wedding Ceremony
Join us for a weekend of fun in the place we met... Hancock Field Station (HFS)! We will be paying for your stay at the camp, camp-style food all three days, and a bus leaving from the Portland airport (PDX) to get you to HFS.
The Clarno Basin, where HFS is nestled in, is a beautiful arid steppe land (colloquially known as the high desert) in Central Oregon. Home to the John Day Fossil Beds, it is a sight to behold. We will have a fun time hiking on trails, playing games, and stargazing as we celebrate Jenny and Chance's newly made matrimony. Do you like s'mores? Do you like looking at cool rocks? Do you like SCIENCE??? Then this is the weekend trip for you!
However, if you'd rather just attend the ceremony that is also an option. You will have to arrange travel for yourself. If you're flying in, we suggest either flying into Portland or Redmond, OR. The ceremony is at 4PM Saturday, August 28th, 2027 at Hancock Field Station inside of Berrie Hall. After the ceremony there will be a dinner, dance party, campfire, and then we will tuck in for the night.

The first conversation Jenny and Chance ever had included talking about enjoying Taylor Swift's music. They bonded further over waiting to listen to her album "Midnights" until they were together. In fact, Jenny first realized she had feelings for Chance when they were scream-singing All Too Well (10 Minute Version) in the car together.
One of their core memories is going to the Era's Tour with a group of close friends and Jenny's sister Maddie. They bonded over their shared love for Swift's music! Chance has since fallen out of love with Taylor for a variety of reasons, but she remains an important part of their love story.
